new bike corral in front of flora & fauna, diagonally across from the fox theatre!

installed yesterday! on the way home last night I saw it and was like Whaaaaat!!! great addition to uptown—the preexisting sidewalk bike racks get quite crowded weekend nights. (many bars in the area)

A Bike-Parking Protected, Protected Bike Lane Grows In Manhattan.

before, there were a lot of bikes on sidewalk, with no place to walk, and bicyclists would ride on the sidewalk from the corner to the parking.

bike parking at PDX!!! take that, SAN!!

and behind to the corner right of this is the “bike assembly area”, complete with bikestand, so you can put together your bike and cruise on out to town on the smooth bike path from the airport.
